Job summary

NurtureCare is seeking a compassionate Female Night Care Assistant to support a young child with complex medical needs at her family home in NG24, Nottinghamshire. The role requires overnight duties on Thursdays and Fridays, 22:00–07:00, with occasional extra shifts.

You will provide overnight care, monitor safety, administer medication via PEG, manage PEG feeds, offer NIV support when needed, perform chest physiotherapy, and assist with personal care and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• References from previous employment.
• Care Certificate or NVQ level 3

Responsibilities

• Overnight observation and monitoring of the child.
• Medication administration via PEG.
• Managing PEG feeds per the care plan.
• Provide basic respiratory support and NIV when required.
• Chest physiotherapy.
• Personal care and overnight hygiene.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate concerns.
