Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc's Power Transmission & Distribution team is seeking a Project Manager – OHL to deliver complex overhead line projects on the BTNO program in Assington, Suffolk. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure delivery to programme, budget and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering a variety of projects with evidence of successful outcomes.
• In-depth understanding of standard forms of contracts and commercial controls.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
• Experience implementing safe systems of work and health & safety standards.
• Ability to mentor teams and promote inclusion and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Overhead Line projects from inception through to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Manage project resources, programmes, risks, opportunities and commercial performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.
• Lead project reviews, reporting activities and governance processes.
• Drive Zero Harm culture and ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are met.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate procurement activities.
• Lead and develop high-performing project teams through coaching and leadership.
• Ensure robust planning, change control and project controls are in place.
• Oversee project budgets, contract compliance and commercial outcomes.
