Pro-Recruitment Group is recruiting an Outsourcing Assistant Manager for its Didcot office in Oxfordshire. The role combines client-facing responsibilities with high-quality accounting delivery in a modern, open-plan environment.

Qualifications

• A strong background in accountancy practice, outsourcing or management accounts.
• Experience preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial statements.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and managing multiple deadlines.
• Experience reviewing work or supporting junior colleagues.
• ACA or ACCA qualifications, strong QBE candidates welcome.
• Good interpersonal skills with a commercial approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Overseeing financial reporting for a portfolio of financial services clients.
• Reviewing statutory accounts, VAT returns and other accounting deliverables.
• Building relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact.
• Reviewing work prepared by junior accountants and supporting their development.
• Managing deadlines, workloads and the delivery of client assignments.
• Working closely with senior colleagues on more complex accounting matters.
