Bergey’s Truck Center-Reading, PA is seeking a full-time parts sales professional to drive revenue and market share. You will promote truck parts, tools, and industrial supplies, building lasting customer relationships through effective service and product knowledge.

The role emphasizes meeting sales targets, expanding the customer base, and staying current with product lines. A team-focused environment supports advancement and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in the truck/auto parts industry preferred.
• Customer Service Skills.
• Ability to learn new product lines quickly.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and online product directories.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales of parts in quantities and at profit margins to meet market share, revenue and gross profit targets.
• Meet/exceed sales and gross profit goals for the assigned territory by promoting and selling parts and related products.
• Increase market share by calling on a wide cross-section of customers and presenting marketing programs.
• Understand competitors in the territory and develop strategies to win new customers.
• Continue to learn new products and product lines through training programs.
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, trainings, and trade shows.

SUMMARY:

Generate sales of parts in quantities and at profit margins necessary to achieve or exceed market share, revenue and gross profit objectives, while promoting and ensuring superior customer service and working within a company team environment. Works with assigned accounts and prospects for new accounts. Contacts include both personal and telephone. Sells entire dealership.

Location: Bergey's Truck Center-Reading, PA

• Meet/exceed sales and gross profit goals of assigned territory by promoting and selling truck parts, tools, fasteners, and industrial supplies using best-practice sales techniques, product service, and building long-term customer relationships.
• Increase market share by calling on a large cross section of customers and potential customers, communicating special programs, presenting marketing programs, and selling new products and product lines.
• Understand the competition within the territory and develop strategies to win over new customers
• Continue to learn new products/product lines through corporate or manufacturer training programs
• Attend and participate in sales meetings, trainings, and trade shows

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the truck/auto parts industry preferred
• Customer Service Skills
• Ability to learn new product lines quickly
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word Excel) and online product directories
• Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
