Job summary

Allegiance Trucks in Warwick is seeking a Parts Counter Sales Representative to handle parts orders via phone, email, or in-person, using catalogs to locate parts for customers.

You will advise customers, follow up on backordered parts, maintain inventory processes, and collaborate with the Parts Manager and Service Department to ensure pricing and availability, while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Two years of heavy truck/auto parts or shop experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Strong customer service skills and good written/verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Handle parts order requests via telephone, e-mail, or in-person
• Utilize manufacturer and vendor catalogs to locate parts for customers, internal and external
• Advise customers on related parts
• Follow up on backordered parts and provide status
• Ensure inventory control practices are followed
• Communicate with Parts Manager on inventory issues
• Communicate with Service Department regarding parts availability and pricing
• Provide solutions for customer needs
• Assist with other projects as needed
