Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting an Outreach Mentor for a SEMH provision in Manchester. The role is 8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri during term time, with a weekly pay of GBP550-GBP600 depending on experience. Start date ASAP. The post involves 1:1 pupil support and regular liaison with parents and SLT, along with morning attendance checks.

Candidates should have SEMH experience, a valid UK driving license with car access, and be prepared to deliver and prepare 1:1 lessons. Team Teach is highly desirable.

• Previous experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• A full, clean UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this position.
• Comfortable delivering and preparing 1:1 lessons.
• Team Teach training is highly desired.

Are you an experienced Outreach mentor, seeking a new opportunity within SEMH? We are working with a SEMH provision in Manchester to recruit a calm and resilient Outreach Mentor to join their team.

As an Outreach Mentor, you will:

• Work 1:1 with pupils, promoting both academic and emotional development
• Reguarly communicate with parents and SLT
• Take attendance in mornings and report to SLT

What we are looking for:

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
