Job summary

Extended University is seeking a part-time Student Services Professional II to plan and coordinate outreach activities and support ADN/RN to BSN enrollment. You will lead campus-specific events, manage inquiries, and work with admissions to ensure smooth transfers and successful onboarding.

This 20-hour-per-week role requires collaboration with faculty and staff to promote student success and engagement across the student life cycle. Background checks and compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in student services or related field; a master's may substitute for one year.
• Four-year college/university degree required; substitutions allowed per policy.
• Experience in advising, recruitment, or outreach in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and participate in outreach activities with hospitals, community colleges, and regional partners.
• Lead outreach and recruitment events for Allan Hancock College campus; maintain partnerships with faculty, staff, and advisors.
• Represent the university at community events and information sessions; support ADN/RN to BSN program events.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective students and maintain records with admissions staff.
• Provide advising on admissions, transfers, and program requirements.
• Support enrollment processes and data collection for admissions decisions.
• Assist with new-student orientation and onboarding; promote student success and engagement.
• Collaborate with Nursing Program Chair and faculty to align outreach and student-support strategies.
