Job summary

Not For Profit People is recruiting a Family Support Worker for community-based work supporting children, young people and families in Harborne, Edgbaston and Northfield. The role is available as 2 full-time/part-time posts with hybrid working where possible.

The role involves delivering Early Help support, working with a multi-disciplinary team to respond quickly to identified family needs, and recording casework to high standards. Closing date is 15 November 2026, with rolling interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering outreach support and family services.
• Ability to build relationships with partner agencies.
• Experience in working with children, young people and families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidenced-based interventions with families and individuals.
• Manage and prioritise an allocated caseload and plan programme delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate case recording and reporting.
• Collaborate with partner agencies within a multi-disciplinary Early Help service.
• Engage with families to promote participation in assessments and support plans.
