Leaders In Care is seeking an Outpatient Nurse in Lancashire to deliver patient-centred nursing care in the outpatient and pre-assessment setting on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Join a modern, patient-focused team and support consultants and the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient journeys and safety throughout their care.

Qualifications

• Current NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) registration is required.
• Experience in Outpatients or Pre-Assessment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible, proactive and compassionate approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within the outpatient setting.
• Undertake comprehensive pre-operative assessments for various surgical specialties.
• Support consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team during clinics and procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure standards compliance.
• Promote patient safety and contribute to quality improvement.
• Provide education, reassurance and support to patients and families.

Outpatient Nurse Location: Lancashire

Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outpatient and pre-assessment services while ensuring every patient receives exceptional care throughout their journey.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within the outpatient setting.


• Undertake comprehensive pre-operative assessments for a variety of surgical specialties.


• Support consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team during clinics and procedures.

About You

• Current NMC Registered Nurse (Adult) registration.


• Previous experience working within an Outpatients or Pre-Assessment department.
