Job summary

One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join the Outpatients team on a full-time permanent basis. You will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients and work with a multidisciplinary team during a 7-day rota.

The role requires NMC registered, outpatient experience, and the ability to supervise HCAs; the successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays, with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Nurse must be registered and actively on the NMC register.
• Experience in outpatient nursing is essential.
• Experience supervising HCAs and leading shifts is required.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Registered Nurse
• Post registration relevant clinical course
• Active NMC Registration
• Current and relevant experience as an outpatient nurse
• Experience of supervising HCAs
