Join our inspirational Rheumatology team at University Hospital Bristol and Weston, where you will develop your career as a Band 7 Team Lead Rheumatology Physiotherapist.

Our team is made up of senior physiotherapists and occupational therapists who work collaboratively across Bristol and Weston hospital sites. You can find more about the Rheumatology services at UHBW here Bristol Royal Infirmary - What We Do | University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust

You will share team lead responsibilities with the B7 occupational therapist and will manage a varied and complex caseload of patients with rheumatological problems.

Throughout your role, you’ll be building relationships with new multi-disciplinary teams and developing and enhancing your professional career with unique benefits, opportunities and incentives such as:

Knowledge and Experience

  • •Significant experience of treating a variety of musculoskeletal / rheumatological conditions as a band 6 therapist
  • •Significant experience of clinical supervision, mentoring and teaching
  • •Experience of people management including undergraduate students

Qualifications and Training

  • •Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • •Health and Care Professions Council registered
  • •Evidence of relevant musculoskeletal / rheumatology post-graduate training
  • •A variety of experience in core areas as post graduate physiotherapist such as musculoskeletal, neurology, respiratory, trauma and orthopaedics

Qualifications and Training

  • •Demonstration of continued education/training in speciality area
  • •Postgraduate training at masters module level or equivalent related to clinical speciality

Knowledge and Experience

  • •Significant experience of clinical supervision, mentoring and teaching
  • •Knowledge and experience of using clinical outcome measures and audit
  • •Understanding of the political and professional agenda
  • •Experience of implementing change
