Description: We are seeking a talented Employee Benefits Consultant to manage and develop a portfolio of Group Risk and Healthcare clients. You will focus on ensuring clients feel supported at all times, providing advice and recommendations that meet client requirements. Through strong client relationships and business development, you will identify new opportunities and promote the wider Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) proposition to maximize opportunities and achieve growth targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to operate within a large global organization that cares deeply about its employees and clients at a local level, with an attractive bonus structure.

Based in Bournemouth, Chichester, Bristol, or Cardiff, this is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
  1. Manage existing Group Risk and Healthcare client portfolios, providing strategic and quality consulting advice.
  2. Identify new opportunities and promote the MMB proposition to maximize revenues and growth.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  4. Provide accurate reports with renewal information, market review results, and recommendations.
  5. Liaise with internal departments and insurers to ensure excellent client service.
  6. Deliver high-quality service and advice.
What you need to have:
  1. Proven experience in Group Risk Consulting with a commitment to excellent customer service.
  2. Healthcare Consulting experience, with IF7 qualification preferred but not essential.
  3. Ability to identify business needs and align products for strategic solutions.
  4. Self-driven, motivated, confident, and approachable.
  5. A positive attitude, willingness to travel, and enjoyment in meeting new people.
What makes you stand out?
  1. Proven track record in client retention and business development in Group Risk.
  2. GR1 qualification is preferred but not essential.
  3. Knowledge of employee benefit platforms is an advantage.
