Job summary

Birkenstock in the United Kingdom is seeking a customer-focused retail assistant to deliver high-quality, personal service and act as a brand ambassador for our products.

You will handle the cash register, manage daily closings, exchanges and refunds, and help with store openings and closings. You’ll keep displays attractive, work with colleagues on stock replenishment, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-quality shoe retail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and service mindset.
• Positive, proactive and team-oriented.
• Strong English communication skills; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an all-round successful customer experience with personal service and brand expertise.
• Act as brand ambassador to convey the value and quality of Birkenstock products.
• Confidently use the cash register system and process daily closings, exchanges or refunds precisely and responsibly.
• Open and close the store and ensure all policies are adhered to.
• Stay calm and positive in hectic situations.
• Present products in an inviting way according to guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues to stock and replenish shop floor items.
