Job summary

Travis Perkins is looking for a Yard Supervisor to run the yard efficiently and safely, leading Yard Assistants and delivering first-class service to customers. You will manage customer orders, load/unload vehicles, and ensure stock is checked in accurately.

You will work outside in a fast-paced environment, with training provided for forklift usage and a focus on teamwork, motivation, and strong customer relationships. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role with a focus on delivering high standards of service.
• Experience supervising a small team of Yard Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Yard Assistants at the outside yard.
• Process customer orders and load/unload vehicles.
• Unload building products from deliveries and book them into the branch warehouse.
• Ensure safety and maintain a tidy, safe working environment.
• Forklift experience is helpful; training is provided.
