Travis Perkins is hiring a Yard Assistant to work outdoors at our UK branch network. You will process customer orders, help load and unload vehicles, and accurately book in stock as it arrives.

Full forklift training is provided where needed, with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism. The role requires enthusiastic, personable individuals who can work calmly in a dynamic environment while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• This is a key customer-facing role requiring enthusiasm and great interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle heavy and bulky stock within health and safety guidelines.
• Experience with forklift is ideal; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and assist in the yard.
• Load and unload customer and company vehicles.
• Unload stock from supplier deliveries and book in the branch warehouse.
