Job summary

YTL UK is looking for a Treatment Operator to support the Bath and North East Somerset team, covering Frome, Radstock and Paulton. The role involves operating and maintaining sewage treatment plants and pumping stations, including advanced wastewater processes, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Applicants should be able to work outdoors in all weather, hold GCSEs in English and maths (and a technical subject), and have or be eligible for a BE driving licence.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English, maths and a technical subject.
• Experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.
• Electrical or mechanical experience desirable; confined spaces training provided.
• Eligible to work in confined spaces; flexible in approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards.
• Run advanced wastewater treatment and sludge processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and procedures.
• Maintain health, safety and welfare of colleagues and public.
• Work outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends.
