Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Treatment Operator for our Westbury team. The role involves operating and maintaining conventional sewage plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards, plus running advanced wastewater and sludge treatment processes.

You will ensure compliance with policy and safeguard health and safety for colleagues and the public, with shifts including evenings and weekends. Experience unsupervised in industrial settings is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.
• Mechanical experience is desirable.
• Confined spaces training will be provided; must be eligible to work in confined spaces.
• Suitability to wear breathing apparatus and navigate tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards.
• Run advanced wastewater treatment and sludge processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policy, processes and procedures.
• Maintain health, safety and welfare of colleagues, public and self at all times.
• Work outside of normal hours, including evenings and weekends.
