Job summary

JOBS247 INC LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operative to ensure the site effluent treatment plant and equipment are operated to maximum efficiency and within Wessex Water consent levels, including discharge monitoring.

You will perform regular cleaning, pre-start checks, conduct effluent discharge testing to verify limits, maintain external areas, monitor surface water points daily, and keep the drainage system unblocked to support compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the site effluent treatment plant and associated equipment is operated to its maximum efficiency and within Wessex water consent levels, including discharge monitoring.
• To carry out regular cleaning of the effluent treatment plant, associated equipment and surrounding yard areas as detailed in SOP WWTP 2.10, including pre-start checks.
• Carry out regular testing of effluent discharge water to ensure discharge limits are within consent levels as per SOP WWTP2.10 and WWTP operating Guide.
• Ensure all external areas of responsibility are maintained to the company standard to include cleaning of the bund and tanks, all yard area adjacent to the WWTP.
• Ensure surface water monitoring points (SWMP) are checked daily.
• Drainage system is kept operational and unblock drains in the yard.
