Job summary

Morrison Data Services is looking for Meter Readers for our client based in Southend. This is a temporary contract but on-going, with 40 hours per week and shifts Mon-Sun 8am-8pm.

You will read meters at commercial and residential properties, update readings on a handheld device, and act as the company ambassador. There is an on-call evening rota and occasional travel outside your designated area. A full UK driving licence (Not required in London) is preferred along with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to pass screening and DBS checks.
• Ability to walk several miles daily.
• Full UK driving licence (Not required in London)

Responsibilities

• Read meters at commercial and residential properties.
• Update meter reads accurately on handheld device.
• Provide first-class customer service on every property visit.
• Work independently and plan routes to maximise efficiency.
• On-call for evening work and potential out-of-area travel.
