Job summary

Gi Group is hiring Meter Readers to collect data from Gas, Electricity, and Water meters for commercial and residential properties. Training will be provided; no prior experience required. You will work 40–45 hours weekly with flexible start times, and may receive a company car and pension benefits.

Successful candidates will possess a UK driving licence and be able to pass DBS and background checks; physical fitness is required for daily fieldwork across locations.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Must have DBS check (no unspent convictions).
• Credit check may be required; 5 years employment history requested.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving data from domestic, commercial, and industrial meters (Water, Gas, Electricity).
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Perform Charge Point surveys.
• Drive and work independently with a friendly, professional approach.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
