Gi Group (United Kingdom) is hiring Meter Readers to collect data from gas, electricity and water meters at residential and commercial sites. You will use a handheld device to update reads and maintain customer service standards.

Training is provided. The role is full-time, with 40–45 hours per week and flexible start times, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays, and includes a company car, pension, and paid training.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Manual UK Driving Licence required (1 year minimum, 6 points max).
• Clear DBS check and credit reference checks (no active issues).
• 5 years employment history required.

Responsabilités

• Retrieving data from domestic, commercial, and industrial meters (Water, Gas, Electricity).
• Carry out visual inspections and charge point surveys at sites.
• Drive and work independently with a customer-focused approach.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
