Job summary

Gi Group is hiring Meter Readers in Greater London. This entry-level, full-time role involves outdoor field work with flexible start and finish times. No prior experience required.

You will read gas, electricity and water meters at residential and commercial properties, update reads on a handheld device, and deliver excellent customer service. Training, PPE and a company car are provided. Applicants should be physically fit, able to work in all weather conditions, and pass DBS and credit checks.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to walk 4-5 miles daily.
• Clear DBS check (no unspent convictions).
• Manual UK driving licence with 1 year minimum experience.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from gas, electricity and water meters at various sites.
• Update meter reads on handheld devices accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service during visits.
