Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer to join our Thames Water division in Croydon. You will travel in a two-person team to residential sites, operating high-pressure jetting to restore drainage systems and record service reports using our specialist equipment.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC, with a digi tachograph card, and involves 40.25 hours per week on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Must hold HGV Class 2 Licence and CPC.
• Digi tachograph card up to date.
• Experience with high pressure jetting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person team.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting for drainage restoration.
• Record job reports on specialist equipment.
• Carry out diagnostics and repairs on drains.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain health and safety practices on site.
• Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished.
• Comply with PPE and site safety protocols.
• Liaise with client regarding updates.
