Job summary

Lanes Group are seeking a hard-working HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer to join our Thames Water contract, based at Thames Treatment Works in Chertsey. You will operate high-pressure water jetting as part of a two-person crew and travel regionally to deliver effective drainage solutions.

You will maintain drainage systems, record job details, and uphold health and safety standards while providing excellent customer service. A CPC, Digi tachograph card, and HGV Class 2 license are required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) required.
• Digi tachograph card required.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to residential sites via a HGV in a two person team, powering a high-pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.
• Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
• Delivering good customer service.
• Maintaining good health and safety practise while carrying out works.
• Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
• Operate JHL specification vacuum tankers and associated equipment.
• Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
