Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer for the Camberley area. The role involves working on our Thames Water contract, operating high‑pressure jetting equipment to restore drainage networks, and providing excellent customer service outdoors in all weather.

You will work 4 on 4 off, 40.25 hours weekly, on a permanent basis, with training provided and a clear on-call rota. A CPC, HGV 2 licence, and a digi tachograph card are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety practices on site.
• Customer service mindset and able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites as part of a two-person team in a HGV, using high-pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems.
• Document each job on specialist equipment.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Adhere to health and safety practices during works.
• Keep vehicle stock full and replenished.
• Follow PPE and safe-site procedures to protect all.
• Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms.
• Operate JHL vacuum tankers and related equipment.
• Access vehicle cabs, sites and offices safely (three points of contact).
• Handle flexible pipework safely and follow manual handling guidelines.
• Work unsupervised in all weather, with PPE or lone worker system.
