Job summary

Lanes Group PLC is seeking a HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer to join our Thames Water contract team in the UK. You will travel to residential sites in a two‑person crew, operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment, and perform drainage cleaning and repairs.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, digi tachograph, and a commitment to health and safety. We offer full training, 21 days holiday, a pension, and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence is required.
• CPC certificate and digi tachograph card are mandatory.
• Experience in drainage or utility services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a two-person team to operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment.
• Clean, clear and maintain drainage systems and record job reports accurately.
• Run diagnostics and perform repairs on drains while maintaining safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and use of PPE.
