Job summary

Haulfryn is seeking a Maintenance and Grounds Person to protect the Finlake Holiday Park’s outdoor spaces and facilities. You’ll maintain lawns, hedges, and paths, undertake basic repairs, and supervise safety standards while delivering a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll work as part of a close-knit team, enjoy outdoor work, and take pride in high presentation standards across lodges and public areas. Driving licence and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance, including mowing, hedge cutting, and general landscaping.
• A practical approach to property maintenance, with skills in basic repairs and upkeep.
• A valid full UK driving licence.
• Awareness of Health & Safety regulations and a commitment to working safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and proactive attitude.
• Experience with grounds maintenance equipment is beneficial (spraying or tree work qualifications are a plus, but training will be provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Carry out grounds maintenance to the highest standards, including mowing, trimming, hedge cutting, weed spraying, gritting, and general gardening.
• Complete property maintenance tasks, including basic repairs, plumbing, painting, and decorating to keep the park and its facilities in excellent condition.
• Inspect and maintain hot tubs, ensuring they are cleaned, refilled, and chemicals are checked daily.
• Identify and proactively resolve maintenance issues across lodges and communal areas to uphold high presentation standards.
• Work within a team to maintain the park’s appearance and functionality, supporting development projects as needed.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for staff, guests, and owners.
