Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep park grounds immaculate and inviting. You will perform lawn care, hedge trimming, flowerbed maintenance and general gardening while supporting other park operations.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, independence and teamwork, with a neat appearance and flexible hours to meet seasonal park needs. Experience in caravan parks is a plus and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality.
• Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage.
• Plumbing experience would be beneficial, though not essential.
• Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and maintain a neat appearance.
• Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the park.

Responsibilities

• Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas to high standards.
• Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery.
• Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds.
• General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas.
• Distributing deliveries to relevant departments.
• Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges.
• Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Litter picking and keeping park areas clean.
