Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep our parks well‑maintained, clean, and inviting. You will perform lawn care, hedge trimming, bedding, litter collection, and general gardening tasks to maintain attractive green spaces and facilities across our holiday parks.

You’ll work outdoors, independently or as part of a team, with flexible hours and a friendly, safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality.

Responsibilities

• Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas to high standards.
• Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery.
• Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds.
• General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas.
• Distributing deliveries to relevant departments.
• Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges.
• Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Litter picking and keeping park areas clean.
