Job summary

Park Holidays UK in Worcester is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep our park grounds pristine and inviting. You will carry out a wide range of outdoor tasks to maintain lawns, hedges, flower beds and general green spaces, while adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.

The role requires practical hands-on work, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, good communication, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance and gardening.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A professional attitude and a positive, can-do personality.
• Experience in caravan park environments is an advantage.
• Willingness to wear company uniform and maintain a neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass and maintain lawn areas to high standards.
• Trimming hedges and maintaining shrubbery.
• Laying bark and maintaining flowerbeds.
• General gardening duties, including planting and upkeep of green areas.
• Collecting and disposing of rubbish/litter and managing bin areas.
• Distributing deliveries to relevant departments.
• Assisting with moving and siting of caravans and lodges.
• Supporting other departments with ad hoc duties as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Litter picking and keeping park areas clean.

Overview
