Job summary

The National Trust is seeking an on-site Facilities Assistant at Formby to help keep the site clean, tidy and well-presented for visitors. You’ll contribute to daily cleaning, minor maintenance and ensuring facilities are in good working order, while providing friendly, helpful service to guests.

You will work as part of small on-site teams, with hours aligned to busy seasonal periods and occasional weekends/bank holidays. Training and support are provided to help you excel in this varied role.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help with day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Assist with minor maintenance and compliance checks.
• Unloading deliveries and handling some manual tasks.
• Provide high standards of customer service and assist visitors with queries.
• Support other teams and contribute to general site upkeep.
