Job summary

Midlothian Council is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for Vogrie Outdoor ELC. This permanent role is 36 hours per week with a 4-day pattern, 52 weeks per year, per the salary scale. Applicants must have a practitioner-level qualification (SCQF 7) or SVQ 3 in relevant childcare qualifications and PVG scheme eligibility.

The post is regulated with PVG requirements and overseas checks if applicable. Salary starts at the council minimum with progression per scale.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least a practitioner level qualification (SCQF 7) or SVQ 3 in relevant fields.
• Up to date first aid certificate is required.
• Forest School Level 3 or related outdoor leadership qualifications desirable.
