Midlothian Council is seeking an Early Years Practitioner on a permanent basis. The post is 36 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with a start at the first salary scale point. The role is Regulated Work with Children under the PVG Scheme; applicants must be PVG checked or willing to join before starting.

The minimum actual salary for this position is £28,072.99 per annum. Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme and may need an overseas criminal record check if

Formación

• Practitioner level qualification or equivalent meeting SSSC registration requirements.
• Up-to-date first aid certificate to be obtained within 6 months of starting.
• PVG Scheme membership required for Regulated Work with Children (or update) prior to employment; cost borne by applicant.
• If spent more than 3 months outside the UK in last 5 years, overseas criminal record check required.
