Job summary

Global is seeking a Digital Infrastructure Engineer to join the Outdoor Digital Infrastructure team, supporting infrastructure across the UK and Ireland, including London’s TfL network. You will document capabilities, implement improvements and manage incidents, changes and deployments to ensure reliable, safe operations.

In this role you will support on-site teams, provide technical guidance during live incidents, and collaborate with project teams and suppliers to deliver dependable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows and Linux infrastructure in live environments.
• Strong networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S).
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell.
• Familiar with IT service management in ITIL-aligned environments.
• Experience supporting digital platforms in a live setting and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document infrastructure capabilities, then implement improvements per design and standards.
• Resolve incidents and problems, directing third-line support and coordinating with suppliers.
• Plan and deploy changes with project teams for safe, reliable end-to-end implementations.
• Support on-site operations, provide technical guidance to frontline teams, maintain clear docs.
• Deliver out-of-hours work for planned installations and operational activities safely.
