Job summary

Turnbull is recruiting for a Working Construction Supervisor to lead a civils team on site at Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater. You will oversee excavation, pipe-laying and concreting, maintaining safety and quality standards while meeting targets.

The role requires supervisory construction experience and SSSTS qualification, with outdoor work in all weather and a focus on team safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must motivate and encourage operatives to be their best.
• Safety ambassador committed to health, safety and wellbeing.
• Experience supervising construction sites.
• Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operatives and carry out site activities such as excavation, pipe-laying, plant operation, groundworks and concreting.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on spec, and in line with policies and targets.
• Promote safety awareness and reduce accidents across the team.
• Coordinate interfaces with other departments and resolve issues promptly.
• Work outdoors in all weather while delivering a vital service to the client.
• Model and promote company and client values through actions and behaviour.
