Job summary

Somerset Council's Kilve Court Outdoor Centre is seeking a Centre Coordinator to help deliver outdoor learning programmes, coordinate activities and manage bookings for residential stays.

You will work closely with the Centre Manager to promote the centre, lead activities, support safeguarding and health and safety, and create welcoming environments for children, young people and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 qualification in Outdoor Education or equivalent.
• Current First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service.
• Knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding and risk assessment in outdoor/residential settings.
• Experience planning and delivering activities and events.
• Ability to manage bookings and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Help shape outdoor learning experiences for children and young people.
• Coordinate activities, manage bookings, promote the centre.
• Support smooth operation and safety of the centre.
• Lead activities and residential stays.
• Develop Kilve Court and grow bookings.
• Promote inclusive environment and safeguard wellbeing.
