This role is responsible for managing distribution operations, overseeing the efficient and accurate distribution of products, managing the shift, optimizing processes, ensuring timely deliveries, and fostering a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team during shifts to meet KPIs fully and on time.
2. Engage and develop team members to achieve optimal performance and reach their full potential.
3. Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures in all distribution activities, including proper handling, storage, and shipping of meal kits to maintain product integrity.
4. Continuously evaluate and improve distribution processes to maximize efficiency, minimize errors, and streamline operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
5. Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure outgoing orders meet quality standards, minimizing errors and product damage.
6. Model the Company’s DNA and ensure team compliance.
7. Handle daily queries from colleagues and liaise with HR and Training teams as needed.
8. Maintain accurate records (digital and physical) on production and food safety data, analyzing this data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
9. Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and address issues.
10. Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, cooperating with HelloFresh on health and safety matters. Report incidents immediately and raise concerns proactively.
11. Undertake basic problem-solving activities and escalate issues to the Distribution Manager when necessary.
12. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
13. Coordinate operations effectively to ensure smooth service delivery.
14. Conduct audits and follow-up actions regarding compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety standards, and other standards like BRCGS and ISO.
15. Participate in or lead ad hoc projects as required.
16. Champion key company strategies and initiatives, such as colleague happiness surveys, diversity and inclusion, and wellbeing programs.
17. Perform other duties reasonably expected as part of this role.

Shift Pattern

4 days on, 3 days off, Sunday to Wednesday, rotating between days and nights every 3 months.
