Job summary

CDM Recruitment is recruiting an Outbound Sales Executive to join a busy Business Development team on a permanent basis. This telephone-led role focuses on identifying opportunities, winning new accounts and re-engaging lapsed customers.

You will work in a full‑time, office‑based role with quarterly bonuses for new accounts won and successful conversions. Monday–Friday, with weekends off and a Christmas shutdown, plus 22 days’ annual leave rising with service.

Qualifications

• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Outbound sales or telesales experience advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good attention to detail and time management.
• Self-motivation, resilience and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Cable/electrical sector experience advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective customers across industries.
• Make proactive outbound contact by telephone, email and social media.
• Win new accounts and re‑engage lapsed customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a varied customer base.
• Maximise new business opportunities while maintaining high standards of customer care.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information.
