Job summary

We Are Zenith, a well-established manufacturing business based in County Durham, is seeking a proactive sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK.

You will make outbound calls, follow up quotations, identify customer needs, and maintain CRM records. You’ll qualify leads and work with colleagues on campaigns to boost outreach. Working hours: Mon-Thu 8:30–17:00; Fri 8:30–13:30, with occasional late cover.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and knowledge of sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Make outbound calls to prospective customers, introducing the company's products and services.
• Follow up quotations and sales enquiries promptly.
• Identify customer needs and effectively communicate the benefits of relevant solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions within the CRM system and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
• Qualify leads and assess potential opportunities for the wider sales team.
• Work closely with colleagues to develop targeted business development campaigns and improve outreach activity.

Job Requirements

• Previous sales experience with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Good understanding of sales processes, lead generation and business development techniques.
• Full UK driving licence.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm

Friday 8.30am – 1.30pm

Approximately 1 in 6 Fridays you will require working until 4:00pm to provide cover for incoming customer calls.
