Job summary

Rullion is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join the Wider Engineering Team. You will plan, coordinate and deliver major planned outages, inspections and maintenance campaigns, ensuring safe, timely and within-budget execution.

The role suits a maintenance planning background, with exposure to power generation or related industries, and requires strong IT skills and contractor/stakeholder coordination. Competitive salary and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in outage, project or maintenance planning in a large-scale industrial environment.
• Experience planning major outages, shutdowns, inspections or overhauls, ideally in power generation or process industries.
• Knowledge of large rotating plant and HRSG systems desirable.
• Strong understanding of project controls and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and coordination of major planned outages, ensuring safety, programme, cost and quality KPIs are achieved.
• Develop and manage integrated outage schedules, including milestones, critical paths, resources and contractor activities.
• Coordinate with Site Outage Managers, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, H&S, Environmental and Finance teams.
• Integrate contractor and supplier programmes into the overall outage schedule.
• Monitor outage progress, identify programme risks and implement recovery actions.
• Plan major inspections, overhauls, maintenance campaigns and emergent works within outage windows.
