Job summary

CVS Vets 24/7 Barnstaple is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our ECC team on an Out‑of‑Hours basis. The role involves working 3 nights in a 3‑week rota (6:45pm–8am) and weekends on a rota basis, based in Barnstaple.

You’ll join our dedicated team providing high‑quality emergency care to our clients across the area. We pride ourselves on a supportive environment with access to on‑site imaging, theatres, and a full nursing team.

Qualifications

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon with ECC focus.
• Out-of-hours experience is desirable.
• Strong clinical and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and on-call veterinary care during OOH shifts.
• Support busy night team with skilled case management.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinicians to maintain high patient care standards.
