Qualifications

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with RCVS/VDS registration.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience with small animals.
• Strong knowledge of both routine and emergency surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care out-of-hours consultations.
• Transfer member practice cases.
• Deliver inpatient care, medical work-ups, and surgery.
• Lead on surgical and medical cases, accurately carry out diagnostic investigations.
• Maintain and improve clinical standards while mentoring junior staff.

Skills

Qualified veterinary surgeon (RCVS/VDS, fully registered)

3–5+ years of small animal experience

Strong knowledge of routine and emergency surgery

Excellent communication skills
