Job summary

CVS Vets in Totnes (Devon) is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated OOH/ECC team. You will work as the Out-Of-Hours Vet alongside an OOH RVN and Twilight Vet, with modern facilities including full digital radiography, endoscopes, ultrasound, and an in-house lab.

The role covers 1 in 4 Sundays, 7:30am–7:30pm, offering day-time activities in the area and a supportive, friendly team. We emphasise wellbeing and professional development within a thriving practice.

Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary surgeon for OOH/ECC role.
• Willing to work 1 in 4 Sundays 7:30–19:30.

Responsibilities

• Provide out-of-hours ECC veterinary care.
• Collaborate with the OOH team (vet and nurses) to ensure smooth handovers.
• Utilise modern equipment and facilities to deliver high-quality care.
