Job summary

Healthcare Resourcing supports a specialist education provider opening a new school in Maidstone, seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (Band 6 or 7) to join a multidisciplinary team.

You will support children and young people with SEMH and SEND, developing and delivering individualised therapeutic programmes in collaboration with teachers, families and other therapists. Start date January 2027, full-time, permanent, salary £40,000–£45,000.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and young people, or a strong interest in specialist education.
• Passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs.
• Enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable and keen to develop professionally.
• Want to shape therapeutic provision within a new specialist school.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver individualised therapeutic programmes for pupils.
• Work closely with teaching staff, families and other therapists.
• Help pupils overcome barriers, build independence and reach potential.
