Tempest Resourcing Limited in East London is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEND school, supporting pupils aged 11-19 with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs. The role offers either a locum or permanent arrangement and is based on term-time hours across two expanding sites.

You will work with teachers and professionals to help pupils develop independence, functional skills and participation in everyday school life within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifikationen

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
• Experience working with children/youth with SEND and complex needs.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism within a multidisciplinary setting.

Overview

I'm currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEND school in East London, supporting young people aged 11-19 with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.

The school is growing its provision across two sites and is looking for an OT with experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.

You'll be working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to help pupils develop their independence, functional skills and ability to participate in everyday school life.

Requirements

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, learning difficulties or complex needs.
• Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary school environment.
• Enhanced DBS (we can put this in process for you).
