Job summary

Tempest Resourcing Limited is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a specialist school in Pinner, North West London. This permanent, part-time position (2.5 days per week) supports children aged 4-16 with mild to moderate SEND, including autism and ADHD. You will provide 1:1, paired and group therapy, and help embed OT strategies across the school day.

The role offers regular supervision, monthly CPD, and opportunities to work within an experienced therapy team in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with children with SEND is essential.
• School-based experience is beneficial.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills are required.
• Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1, paired and group therapy to children in the school setting.
• Support areas including fine and gross motor skills, self-care and sensory processing.
• Complete assessments and contribute to EHCP provision.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to embed OT strategies throughout the day.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and CPD.

Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist - Specialist School

£32,000-£46,000 FTE (pro rata) | Pinner, North West London | Permanent

Overview

I'm currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join the onsite therapy team at a specialist school in Pinner.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 2.5 days per week, supporting children aged 4-16 with mild to moderate SEND, including autism and ADHD. The school takes a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach and has an established therapy team in place.

You’ll deliver a mixture of 1:1, paired and group therapy, supporting areas including fine and gross motor skills, self-care and sensory processing. You’ll also complete assessments, deliver EHCP provision and work closely with teachers and families to embed OT strategies throughout the school day.

There’s a strong emphasis on development and support, with regular clinical supervision, monthly dedicated CPD and the opportunity to work under the supervision of a Senior Occupational Therapist.
