Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an OT Engineer in Glasgow to provide hands-on expertise across utilities, water and other critical infrastructure. You will assess PLC/RTU/SCADA systems, conduct site surveys and design migration roadmaps for modernisation, while supporting IT/OT convergence and edge connectivity in brownfield environments.

• Hands-on experience of industrial automation and OT control systems.
• Site surveys and technical reviews across distributed environments.
• Brownfield modernisation challenges and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT site surveys, assess control systems, data flows and asset dependencies.
• Evaluate PLC/RTU/SCADA/telemetry estates and identify risks and standardisation opportunities.
• Contribute to migration programmes with target-state architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers and suppliers to provide clear technical recommendations.
