Job summary

A reputable engineering recruitment agency is looking for a 2nd Engineer for Industrial Control Systems to support the Lead ICS Engineer. The role involves maintaining and improving industrial control systems and cyber security within a plant environment. Candidates should have an HND in Control & Instrumentation or similar, experience with OT systems including DCS and PLC, and strong fault-finding and analytical skills. This position requires effective collaboration across engineering, operations, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• HND (or equivalent) in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with industrial OT systems, PLC/DCS/SCADA environments, and networking concepts.
• Understanding of industrial cyber security and OT risk management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop expertise in plant OT systems.
• Support OT lifecycle management including upgrades and obsolescence planning.
• Assist in implementing industrial cyber security controls.
