You’ll have the opportunity to work hands‑on with critical control systems while contributing to long term engineering, maintenance, and cyber security strategies. You’ll help shape how the plant operates now and for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendation to the Lead ICs Engineer regarding OT life cycle management, upgrades, obsolescence management, spares inventory, CAPEX plans, etc.
  • Support site lead on designing, implementing and managing appropriate cyber security arrangements to comply with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Follow and maintain cyber security policies, playbooks, risk assessments and procedures in accordance with recent industry guidance and standards.
  • Manage Risk through lifecycle analysis of systems, understanding threats and vulnerabilities through monitoring, identification, remediation and reporting.
  • Plan, execute and manage C&I maintenance and project scope during plant outages, in both a hands‑on and a supervisory capacity.
  • Coordinate and manage engineering project work, development and implementation.
  • Coordinate with procurement to develop technical specifications and ensure successful tendering.
  • Manage contract delivery and close‑out to ensure contractors services are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to specification.
  • Liaise with the Operations and Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) Teams to investigate plant issues and implement solutions, by providing C&I experience, knowledge and guidance as required.
  • Coordinate Management of Change activities, ensuring plant change and modification procedures are applied.
  • Utilise InterGen’s information and action tracking processes to deliver an ongoing continuous improvement program, Risk/Opportunity Register, plant issue register (BITS), plant anomaly cases, Plant Status Review, insurer recommendations, CAPEX program, etc.
  • Carry out internal and cross‑site Technical RCA investigations and engineering risk assessments.

  • Attend OEM / 3rd Party training courses where necessary to enhance knowledge and development within the role.
