Job summary

Portsmouth Water seeks a proactive OT Engineer to design, develop and optimise OT solutions across Production assets, improving reliability, energy efficiency and safety. You will work with Process Science, Operations and Technical teams to strengthen resilience and water quality.

Responsibilities include leading OT system improvements, implementing OT/ICS projects, commissioning works, and ensuring robust change control and cybersecurity across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in OT or industrial IT environments.
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and SCADA development.
• Ability to work from project/engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT improvements and optimisations for reliable production operation.
• Implement OT/ICS projects, upgrades and asset enhancements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and safe handover of OT works.
• Maintain change control for documents, software and PLC/HMI/SCADA files.
• Monitor OT cyber security to protect critical environments.
• Provide specialist EICA/OT support across water treatment works.
• Deliver training and technical guidance to colleagues.
